After all these years of writing, wondering, starting stories, leaving some unfinished, and coming back to others, this feels a little surreal.
Today, Because I Chose You is officially out in the world.
I am so grateful to be sharing this moment with my family and friends, both old and new. Every word of encouragement, every heart and thumbs-up, every person who took the time to read my posts—and especially those who shared them with others—has meant more than you know. Marketing is something I’m learning as I go, and I need all the help I can get. 😊
It’s still surreal to think that my words, placed between a beautiful cover, are now sitting on a shelf for someone to pick up and read. It’s humbling. And I know this is only the beginning. I’ll learn, grow, and hopefully become a better writer with every story I tell. And I have many more.
Do I worry about you finding a stray punctuation error or misspelled word? Absolutely. 😂 We worked really hard to eliminate them! But perfect was never my goal.
I want the story to touch your heart in some small way. I want you to wonder what you might do if you were in their situation. I want you to be drawn into their lives—to laugh, cry, feel the tension and fear, and maybe see a little of yourself somewhere along the way.
Bottom line, I want you to see the story I envisioned.
I want you to feel something!
