Boston born and bred.
Celtics fan in the fall and winter. Red Sox fan when spring and summer roll around.
FBI Special Agent.
Excellent cook.
And a man who has never been particularly good at giving up.
Scott grew up in Boston and has always had a love for the city, baseball, basketball, and his family. He became an FBI Special Agent because he wanted to make a difference—and because, apparently, the Navy had other plans for him. Serving in the Navy had been his first dream, but his vision had other ideas. That didn’t change the one thing Scott had always known: he wanted to serve. In whatever capacity that meant.
He took the long route to Quantico. After being denied by the Navy, he applied at the Boston PD and worked as a beat cop. After a few years, he applied at the FBI. Denied the first time because he needed a bachelor’s degree, he refused to give up.
The next day he signed up at Boston College. He studied late into the night during stakeouts, sometimes trying to finish an assignment while watching a building under surveillance. It wasn’t easy. But it built the determination and grit that carried him forward.
Graduation day was the best. But having his family at Quantico, watching him take his oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic, made it even better. He knew he was finally where he belonged.
He’s smart, steady, adaptable, protective, and patient.
He’s also the kind of man who will cook dinner when the woman he loves has somehow managed to turn “What should we eat?” into a three-hour investigation.
Fortunately, Savannah doesn’t mind.
Mostly.
Scott and Savannah don’t agree on everything.
But they do agree on the things that matter.
